Let's Face it Birth can be scary, but let's embrace it and let's celebrate it. Birth is a symbol of a new beginning, a new era, and a symbol of unification of a family. A baby is just so beautiful and pure.
Meet
Isabel
Hi, I'm Isabel—founder of Sweet Beginning Doula.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from West Coast University in 2013, and since 2021, I have had the privilege of supporting growing families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey. My nursing background, combined with my passion for maternal and newborn care, has shaped the compassionate, evidence-based approach I bring to every family I serve.
I am a DONA-trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, where I received specialized training in providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational care throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. I have also completed lactation education, allowing me to provide gentle, practical guidance with breastfeeding and newborn feeding as families adjust to life with their new baby.
My philosophy is simple: every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and supported. I strive to create a calm, nurturing environment where you feel confident in your choices and empowered throughout your birth experience. Whether you're preparing for labor, welcoming your baby, or navigating the early weeks of parenthood, I'm here to provide reassurance, education, and compassionate hands-on care.
Sweet Beginning Doula offers pregnancy, birth, and postpartum doula services, along with childbirth education, newborn care instruction, and breastfeeding education. I proudly serve families throughout San Diego County, Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Fallbrook, Oceanside, Escondido, and surrounding Southern California communities.
My goal is to help you feel prepared for every stage of your journey by providing personalized, evidence-based education, trusted resources, and unwavering support so you can approach pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with confidence, peace of mind, and a strong sense of empowerment.

why i became a doula .
..is helping expecting parents as they start their new season in life . This passion grew stronger after I walked into my path of Motherhood in the year of 2014. Being a momma of two, and having two different birth experiences created a passion in being a resource to all expecting parents.
my philosophy..
..is helping expectant parents as they go through their birth experiences by emphasizing a mindful, empowerment and integrative approach to pregnancy, birth and postpartum care.
my promise to each family .
..is simple; it is to provide you, and your family with the love and support you need to ensure that you have the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care that you want. I know there's a lot of noise out there- from books to blogs to experts itching to advice you, but I am here to tell you to listen to your instincts and follow your heart.
I promise to help you navigate the right, evidence-base information needed to make the best choice for you and your growing family. I look forward in being your guide and your biggest supporter.
